May 5: Jane’s Walk through history of Beaches’ parks
The Path to Park Privatization is the title of the Jane’s Walk on May 5 that starts at 1:30 p.m. on the West side of Balmy Beach Club.
Walk leader Adam Smith discusses the issue of private control of public parks in light of the history of all of the Beaches having once been private land.
The two-hour walk ends at Carter’s Landing.
