The Toronto Sandwich Fest is to take place on Apr. 22 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Wychwood Barns at 601 Christie St.
The often underestimated sandwich will finally be given the credit it is due as vendors from across the city showcase their offerings. The marketplace will also feature local merchandise to take home.
There will be sandwich design and eating competitions and local chefs will hold demonstrations on how to create a restaurant quality product. An exciting array of luxury lifestyle and food related prizes will be featured at the silent auction.
Tickets for the event are from $30 to $35. The fest is a fundraiser, with proceeds to be split between The Stop and the George Brown College Foundation.
