Scenes from the City Cider Festival

The City Cider Festival at Spadina Museum was held for its seventh year on Sept. 17 — and it was one of its best.

More that 1,000 people attended the event this year and drank uncountable litres of cider, made from local apples, and sampled the barbecued fare.

It was a family event and about one quarter of the festival-goers appeared to be children. Lots of unique, rustic and daring activities kept everyone  busy.

Streeter photographer Alexei Malakhov caught the action.
