Victoria Village

Also known as Victoria Park Village or Sloane, Victoria Village is a residential neighbourhood found along Victoria Park Avenue south of Lawrence Avenue East and stretching just south of Eglinton Avenue East and is bordered on the west by the Don Valley.

This densely populated and ethno-culturally diverse area is home to many condominiums and apartment buildings, although there are also many detached homes abutting the valley areas. Shops and services line nearby Eglinton and Lawrence Avenue while Victoria Park Avenue is home to several popular chain restaurants. The area is also home to a branch of the Toronto Public Library.

Next to the community in the Don Valley is the Charles Sauriol Conservation Reserve, a green space that is highly valued by local residents as a natural refuge in the city. Regular DVP drivers will recognize the reserve’s “rainbow tunnel”, a concrete tunnel with the exterior painted to look like a rainbow.
