Apr. 26: Fair and art show by brain injury society

The Brain Injury Society of Toronto is holding a fair and art show on Apr. 26 at Christ Church Deer Park, 1570 Yonge St.

They invite the community to bring questions, bring used electronics, bring friends and come to a free two-in-ione event: the Brain Injury Community Agency Fair + Expressive Art Show.

In the artistic section, “Beauty + the Beast: the Good + Bad of ABI Expressive Art Show,” dozens of works by expressive artists living with brain injury are shown — from paintings, to greeting cards to photography and more.

The community fair portion is where non-profits, innovative BIST members and corporate sponsors come together for an afternoon of learning, networking and shopping. Check out books and crafts made by BIST members and learn how Toronto’s non-profit services can help you lead a full life after brain injury, including Social Enterprise Free Geek Toronto who will be accepting donations of electronics.

Hours are 4–7 p.m.
