Police have identified the victim and the alleged shooter in this morning’s homicide on Danforth Avenue.

Officers found a man on the ground with obvious trauma after responding to a call about a shooting near Danforth and Langford avenues at about 2:30 a.m. on Aug. 22, police say.

Danny Morales, 35, of Toronto was pronounced dead at the scene.

After witnesses provided suspect descriptions, a man was arrested a short time later in the area by uniformed officers.
