Attempted murder charges for stabbing suspect
[attach]7698[/attach]A man who allegedly stabbed four co-workers after being fired from his technology job on Wednesday was due in court on Finch Avenue West this morning to face 11 charges, including three for attempted murder.
Police say Chuang Li, 47, stabbed two of his managers in a fifth-floor office at 4110 Yonge St., and stabbed another manager and a co-worker who tried to intervene.
The female manager is listed in critical condition, with life-threatening injuries. The two male managers, whose injuries were not life threatening, are recovering in hospital. The male co-worker was treated and released.
Li was charged with three counts of attempted murder, and four counts each of aggravated assault and assault with a weapon.
He worked in the IT department for Dayforce HCM, a human resources technology company owned by Ceridian.
