Fire officials clean up Manor Road house

Emergency crews, in white hazmat suits, moved in on Manor Road homeowner Dennis Cbulka on Nov. 29, forcibly clearing material from the townhouse fire officials had locked him out of a year and a half ago.

Cbulka had been living on the front porch with his 12 cats, refusing to comply with an order to clear the house, which had been deemed a fire hazard and unsafe for habitation.

The Town Crier had spoken with him just weeks before the fire officials moving in.

Compliance would have seen fire officials unseal the house.
