Fletcher wins in tight Ward 30 race
[attach]2541[/attach]Councillor Paula Fletcher has won a tight race against against challenger Liz West in Ward 30.
[attach]2542[/attach]Fletcher has 8,172 votes while West is running a close second 7,986 votes.
In 2006 Fletcher won easily taking over 60 percent of the popular vote, beating her nearest rival by close to 4,500 votes. The ward had a slightly better than average turnout with 40 percent of registered voters casting ballots.
