‘Vote for what you believe in’

We’re being told to hold our nose and vote for the second worst candidate to defeat the worst candidate, or is it the second-best candidate to defeat the worst? We are told to abandon all our social justice principles and vote for the other Conservative candidate, John Tory.

Tory is now endorsing other Conservative candidates for council. Stephen Harper will be thrilled if it works. No wonder young people are disgusted and cynical about politics.

My advice: Ignore the “experts” and do the democratic thing. Vote for what you believe in and for the principles and values you want in a mayor and a councillor.
