A new Streeter is coming

We are taking a publishing break, but we are not stopping our work.

Over the next few weeks we are concentrating on the work we’ve been doing behind the scenes recently to create a completely new Streeter, involving our websites, associated apps and social media platforms.

It will be a vastly different concept of what neighbourhood news is all about — different from the older model of community news we have championed for the past dozen years online and much longer before that as a print publication, encompassing the Town Crier era.

Understandably, we don’t want to give away too much of what we have in store, but you can rest assured it will include a focus on news, views and things to do in our neighbourhoods. Even more so.

In the meantime we’ll continue to leave our existing content available on Streeter.ca and may be adding a few new items as they become available. And all that vintage and recent content will be incorporated into the new Streeter.

But the major unveiling is scheduled for late April, if all goes as well as we expect.

We’ll talk to you on the other side.
