Glen Murray has no trouble in Toronto Centre

Glen Murray has held Toronto Centre.

As of 10:23 Murray had collected 52.4 percent of the votes. He is well ahead of second-time NDP candidate Cathy Crowe with 26.5 percent and Progressive Conservative Martin Abell with 16.4 percent.

Murray won the riding with 47 percent of the ballots cast in a 2010 byelection after the resignation of George Smitherman who ran unsuccessfully for mayor that fall. Federally, Toronto Centre remained in the Liberal camp as former NDP premier Bob Rae was re-elected without much difficulty.
