May 18: tips for writers seminar

Editing fiction and memoir: tips for writers, will be held on May 18 from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Toronto Reference Library at 789 Yonge St.
This is a free workshop on the three stages of editing, including substantive, stylistic and copy editing.
Participants will learn practical tips and techniques that can be applied to their own manuscripts.
This free seminar will include hands-on activities, a question and answer session, handouts with seminar notes and cheat sheets, and a chance to to meet Maggie Morris of Asquith Press.
