Small changes made to Rob Ford's committee choices
While Mayor Rob Ford’s slate of candidates was approved by council there were a few small changes to what had been proposed.
Councillor Ron Moeser said he didn’t ask to serve on the Audit Committee and was replaced by councillor Shelley Carroll.
As well, a change was made to the start of the term for councillors on the Police Services Board. While Pam McConnell is off the board as of today (replaced by Michael Thompson) the remainder of the councillors appointed by former mayor David Miller will serve until Dec. 31 to provide some continuity until the new members can be brought up to speed.
Councillor Joe Mihevc asked to be added as a 10 member of the TTC board, which will be considered by city council and Executive, but was not approved today.
