A woman is in serious condition after being stabbed this morning outside a Tim Hortons at Yonge and Eglinton.

Responding to an emergency call at 7:43 a.m., police officers found a woman stabbed in what appeared to be the face or throat, said Constable Tony Vella, who added there was “blood everywhere” at the scene. She was taken to hospital.

The suspect was still at large hours later, but is said to have fled in a blue minivan, and police do have the license plate number.
Vella said the man struck a vehicle while fleeing the area.

The suspect is described at white, heavy build, full bear with short gray hair.

The woman’s injuries are listed as serious but non-life threatening.
