York Mills

York Mills, part of the former borough of North York, may be considered the area between Highway 401 and York Mills Road, east of Yonge Street and west of the Don Valley in northern Toronto. Hoggs Hollow, which is south of York Mills Road, may also be considered part of the greater York Mills area, though we keep it as a separate neighbourhood for the sake of news coverage.

High-end residential houses and condominiums characterize the area, in addition to many parks, nature trails and other green spaces. York Mills residents have many shopping choices, mostly in the form of suburban-style shopping plazas. The are is served by many convenient transportation options from the subway and GO bus to the many local busses that operate here.

Recreation facilities, schools and churches are plentiful in the area.

You can get York Mills news from Streeter online by neighbourhood or via the North Toronto edition. Residents also receive a North Toronto print edition of Streeter.
