Cell phone taken in Bathurst robbery
A woman escaped injury in an early-morning robbery incident just north of the Lawrence Manor neighbourhood on Aug. 24.
She told police her cell phone was taken.
The 27-year-old said she was near Bathurst Street and Baycrest Avenue at about 12:37 a.m. when two men approached her. One man demanded her phone and then grabbed it out of her hand. Both men then took off, heading north on Bathurst.
The woman was not hurt.
