Cops seek grinch who stole Christmas wreath

WONDERFUL, AWFUL IDEA: Police are seeking this woman, who was seen on camera taking a wreath off the front door of a Rosedale home.

One woman must’ve thought Rosedale looked a lot like Whoville.

Toronto Police are looking for the grinch who took a wreath off the front door of a home near Yonge Street and McPherson Avenue on Dec. 5.

The suspect was seen on home surveillance video walking up to the door of a home and taking the wreath.

Police say there was another reported theft of a wreath in the area two days later.

The woman is described as white with a thin build and 25–35 years old. She was wearing a tight-fitting toque, a puffy black winter jacket, blue jeans and a black leather messenger bag.

No word on whether police have searched Mount Crumpit.
