Twice a victim
A hit-and-run incident took a bizarre twist on Jan. 5, when a woman was struck by a vehicle and robbed by the driver, police say.
The incident occurred just before 9 p.m. at Bathurst Street and Lawrence Avenue West.
Police say the 25-year-old woman was walking when she was struck by a stolen vehicle.
After the hit, the female driver reportedly approached the woman and grabbed her possessions before getting back in the vehicle and dragging the victim a short distance.
The victim wasn’t seriously injured.
Police say the driver then lost control of the car, struck a utility pole and house before fleeing on foot.
Police are looking for witnesses and information regarding this incident.
The suspect is a described white, 20-25, 5-foot-4, 106 lbs., with blonde hair in a ponytail. She was last seen wearing dark pants.
