Apr. 8-11: On the Rocks show at local lounge

Paupers Pub hosts theatrical production about young lives

Small but Mighty Productions is opening its season with On the Rocks: A Straight Up Sequel from Apr. 8 to 11.

The show will be performed at Paupers Pub second floor lounge, 539 Bloor St. W.

As a followup to last season’s Straight Up, the company is back with another show set in a bar. With some returning characters and some entirely new, this interactive theatre performance occurs all around one of the Annex’s most popular pubs. Audience members are encouraged to buy drinks, socialize with the actors, and invest in the performance simultaneously.

Episodic in nature, the show aims to address some of 2018’s most relevant social and economic issues, displaying a combination of the comedies and tragedies that exist in the lives of young people.

Doors open at 7:30 p.m. The show begins at 8 p.m.

Tickets available online for $20 or at the door for $25.
