THINGS TO DO

Jan. 31–Feb. 9: Dick Whittington and his Cat

The community theatre group NAGs Players present their production of Ben Crocker’s Dick Whittington and his Cat at the Tranzac Club, 292 Brunswick Ave.

Dick Whittington posterJoin Dick and his cat Tommy go on a magical and musical journey to London and then to the shores of Morocco and back. Along the way, Dick meets the evil King Rat and his band of ratlings, the beautiful Alice Fitzwarren and her father, the slow-moving Idle Jack and, of course, Sarah the traditional pantomime Dame. Audiences can expect lots of laughs and can participate in booing the baddies, cheering the goodies and groaning at awful jokes.
