Sept. 27: Explore gardens of Italy at Deer Park Library

A presentation exploring the gardens of Italy will be held at the Deer Park Library, 40 St. Clair Ave. E., Sept. 27 from 2 to 3 p.m.

Presenter Donna Fenice will discuss Italy’s lake district, which has been captivating artists, writers and movie directors for centuries. The presentation will focus on a baroque extravaganza on Lake Maggiore, a garden in the romantic English style on the shores of dreamy Lake Como and a Palladian villa garden inspired by Versailles.
