Fashion show raised money for Sick Kids

Students showed off fashions at Artscape Wychwood Barns on May 3, all in the cause of Sick Kids Hospital.

The Miraki Fashion Show, led by students from from Bishop Strachan School, raised about $75,000 for DiPG Cancer research at the hospital.

About 250 people paid $50 to take in the fashions, music, vendors, photo booths and auction on May 3 at Artscape Wychwood Barns.

It’s the fifth such event from BSS, each one benefitting another charity. It is organized by a 20-student committee with three co-chairs from Grade 12 who will pass their seats to the 11-Grade students upon graduation.

Runway models are both high school students and up-and-coming models. All designers are from Toronto.
