Sept. 16: Toronto’s eighth annual garlic festival at Artscape Wychwood Barns

The eighth Annual Toronto Garlic Festival will take place on Sept. 16 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Artscape Wychwood Barns at 601 Christie St.

Ontario farmers will be selling garlic and chefs will be cooking with it.

This is a great opportunity to stock up on your winter supply of fresh garlic, taste delicious garlic-inspired food and desserts and find fun garlic-themed products while listening to live music, enjoying craft beer and wine, fascinating talks, art workshops, cooking demos, a virtual reality farm tour and film screenings.

There will also be a free Garlic Shot Station, an annual Garlic Breath Contest and more.

Admission is $5 per person for adults and free for kids under 12.

Food and alcoholic beverages and products are available for sale.
