Cops mum on Teddington Park murder
Police are being tightlipped about the shooting death of a 26-year-old man in upscale Teddington Park.
Peter Nguyen was shot to death at about 9:20 p.m. on Feb. 4 in front of 3435 Yonge St., a clothing store located a few blocks north of Lawrence Avenue.
Police say two men are believed to be responsible. They were seen running west on Melrose Avenue just after the shooting. They are described as wearing dark clothing, but no further description has been provided.
Police have given no updates and requests for comment were not returned.
Nguyen’s death was the Toronto’s sixth homicide of 2014, and the second in the midtown area in two months.
