Man wanted for early-morning sex assault in Rosedale
A man is wanted for allegedly sexually assaulting a woman in Ramsden Park in Rosedale early this morning.
Police say the woman was assaulted by a man encountered on a flight of stairs between Pears Avenue and Hillsboro Avenue at 1 a.m. A man walking down the stairs is alleged to have grabbed her, thrown her to the ground and tried to cover her mouth before sexually assaulting her.
The man then ran east toward Yonge Street, police said.
The man is described as white, about 5-foot-9 to 6-foot tall and in his 30s. He was wearing prescription glasses, a dark blue hoodie with white lines on the side, and dark-coloured pants.
