Crescent Town

Crescent Town, near the intersection of Danforth Avenue East and Victoria Park Avenue, is a residential neighbourhood consisting mainly of high and low-rise apartment buildings, condominiums and townhouses. The area is a distinctive residential development in that it is virtually self-contained – many of the buildings are connected via above-ground walkways.

The area is very multicultural with members of the Tamil-, Jamaican-, Pakistani- and Bangladeshi-Canadian communities calling Crescent Town home. The units in many of the buildings here are larger than in many other communities and many are said to offer great views of downtown Toronto.

Residents here have access to many amenities including the Shoppers World Danforth mall and the Victoria Park subway station on the Bloor-Danforth line.

Crescent Town Fact: Mayor David Miller met Actor Kiefer Sutherland here years ago when both were residents of Crescent Town.
