Cricket Club

Cricket Club is a charming, affluent neighbourhood in northern Toronto located south of Wilson Avenue, north of Brooke Avenue and between Yonge Street and Avenue Road.

One of the main features of this residential pocket is the historic Loretto Abbey, an historic Catholic girls’ school. Homes here are mostly two-storey Tudors and larger Georgians interspersed with some bungalows, most circa 1920.

Nearby Wilson Avenue and Yonge Street offer a plethora of shops and services to the residents here.

In addition to the several schools in the area, the actual Cricket Club from which the neighbourhood gets its name is valued by locals. It is one of Toronto’s finest private clubs and offers members a snack bar and dining facilities, as well as facilities for curling, skating, squash, tennis, croquet, lawn bowling, swimming, aerobics classes and, of course, cricket.

You can get Cricket Club news from Streeter online by neighbourhood or via the North Toronto edition. Residents also receive a North Toronto print edition of Streeter.
