Woodbine Heights

Woodbine Heights is a neighbourhood in the former borough of East York. The district is defined east-west as being between and Woodbine and Coxwell Avenues and north-south between the Don Valley ravine and Mortimer Avenue.

Similar to neighbouring communities in Old East York, Woodbine Heights is a residential area comprised mostly of single-dwelling brick homes. The demographics here are changing – the area has predominantly been older residents but now hipper middle-class families and single people are moving into the area, attracted by the culture of near-by Danforth Avenue to the south.

There are several parks in the neighbourhood including Taylor Creek Park to the north. The Don Valley Parkway is very conveniently close and public transportation is readily available from any of the Bloor-Danforth subway line stations located just to the south.
