Additions to church under way on Glenview Ave.
Glenview Presbyterian Church is getting a facelift.
The 88-year-old heritage site on Glenview Avenue, just west of Yonge Street, was approved for a building permit in mid-January and construction has begun on numerous additions.
The 4–6-month project calls for installation of an elevator on the north side and accessibility ramps, along with upgrades to the hall, bathrooms, stairways and walkways.
More than half of the funds to cover the estimated $1 million cost have been raised by the congregation.
