Arts and crafts show draws 1,000 at Eastminster
Ninth annual show raises more than $12K for community programs
The ninth annual Arts and Crafts Sale at Eastminster United Church raised more than $12,00 for local community programs on Nov. 17, organizers said.

Attracting nearly 1,000 people, the sale hosted by the Toronto East Rotary Club, had 48 vendors showing all sorts of goods.
The show’s growth is shown by the high rate — 80 per cent — of vendors who returned from last year. About two-thirds of the artisans are local, according to organizers.
Proceeds from the event help support community projects, including Out of the Cold, a volunteer program run out of the church to serve the homeless.
Apart from shopping from a wide range of artists and artisans, visitors listened to live music, had faces painted and enjoyed homemade refreshments.
