Arts & Letters Club to hold fun sale
Antique collectors are eagerly anticipating the Inside Out sale Oct. 24, 10–4p.m. at the Arts & Letters Club on 14 Elm St.
Various hidden treasures such as a 1918 canteen from the First World War will be available for sale.
A total of 5,000 items have been collected from eager club members, who have been scavenging their houses to find hidden treasures that might catch people’s attention.
“The prices vary depending on the item,” says club manager Fiona McKeown.
The sale is organized with old books in the basement, expensive gold and silver treasures will be on display in the great hall and everything else will be in the boardroom.
All the money raised in this auction will go toward improving and maintaining the club’s property.
