BIAs get into the holiday spirit
[attach]1022[/attach]Santa is coming to Lawrence Park, and he’s bringing some goodies.
The Yonge Lawrence Village Business Improvement Area is hosting the Man in Red on Dec. 5, 12 and 19 from 12 p.m.–3 p.m. in preparation for the holiday season.
During his annual visit to the village, Santa will greet shoppers and hand out goodies, including a Yonge Lawrence Village environmental shopping bag.
Also on Dec. 5, the BIA hosts their lighting exchange at the Scotiabank at 3446 Yonge Street, at Yonge Boulevard.
Bring your old incandescent light strings, and Toronto Hydro will give you a new energy efficient LED light strand.
When decorating for the holidays, LED lights help you save money because they use less electricity.
