Paradise Comics celebrated its most important holiday on May 7: Free Comic Book Day.
Started in 2002 as an effort to promote the comic book industry, the event, celebrated on the first Saturday of May, has become a mainstay for shops across the continent. Paradise offered the crowd up to seven comic books each, promoted $1 comics and had artists on hand to draw and offer their wares.
