A community meeting to discuss a development proposal for a 9-storey condominium on Bayview Avenue will be held by developer The Brown Group on Dec. 3 at Leaside Library.

The proposal suggests a mixed-use building on the west side of Bayview Avenue, from Soudan Avenue to Hillsdale Avenue East, and would require the demolition of several homes and a low-rise apartment building.

The Brown Group will show design plans to the community at the meeting and receive feedback from the community before going ahead with applications for amendments to the Official Plan and zoning by-laws.

The affected addresses in this development proposal are 1674–1684 Bayview Ave., 701–713 Soudan Ave. and 720 Hillsdale Ave. East.
