Demolition continues on site of collapse
Second building brought down on Eglinton where seven injured on Monday

Demolition work has continued on the site of the future Forest Hill Crosstown Station where a building collapsed on Monday, sending seven people to hospital.
A building next to the former House of Chan at 876 Eglinton Ave. W., which fell on April 18, has also been demolished.
On Tuesday night, Metrolinx reportedly announced the Ontario Ministry of Labour had determined the building was unstable and would need to be demolished right away.
Altogether three buildings were to be razed to make way for a secondary entrance for the Crosstown LRT station at Bathurst St. and Eglinton. The third building to come down, the former Forest Hill Pizza shop, still stands as of today.
Metrolinx said on Monday the first building was being prepared for demolition when a front wall collapsed on a covered walkway, which fell on pedestrians at the time, causing minor injuries.
The Ontario Ministry of Labour is investigating the accident.
