Town Crier is looking for exceptional young people for provincial award

There’s one in every community.

The leader of tomorrow, an extraordinary young person who is driven to make their world a better place to live.

The Ontario Community Newspapers Association, of which the Town Crier is a member, is once again recognizing those extraordinary young people with the 2010 Ontario Junior Citizen of the Year Awards.

Sponsored by TD bank Financial Group and Direct Energy, the annual award program is currently seeking nominations for individuals 6-17.

Individuals may be nominated in four categories:

-Those involved in a community service
-Special young people contributing with a physical or psychological limitation.
-Individuals who have performed acts of heroism or bravery in the past year.
-Kids who show a commitment to make life better for others.
