Chico taken after being left tied to fence

Police are seeking information on an alleged dognapping near Yonge Street and Eglinton Avenue on Feb. 24.

Chico, a seven to eight-year-old dog, was tied to a fence by its owner left for less than a minute, police say. The owner returned to find the dog missing.

It is described as a male, part black pug and part chihuahua.

On Feb. 27, police released photos of the dog apparently taken at Christmas.
