Filion cruises to victory in Ward 23
Opponents no match for veterian councillor
Councillor John Filion will be holding onto Willowdaleâs Ward 23.
The incumbent has pulled in 12,518 votes compared with 2,253 votes for Dusan Kralik.
In 2006 Filion won with over 57 percent of the vote, defeating his nearest rival Andrew Miller by 3,618 votes. The last election saw only 34 percent of Ward 23 voters cast ballots.
