Grass isn’t greener
Once dubbed the field of dreams, the original plan featured a giant dome on the field. That plan fell apart in 2007 amid fierce opposition from local residents, accusations of impropriety, and infighting between would-be stakeholders. Trustee Josh Matlow referred to the quashed plan as the ‘field of nightmares.’
