Jimmie Simpson back in business

After a $1 million renovation patrons return to the upgraded facility

Crowds turned out on Sept. 4 for the grand reopening of Jimmie Simpson Park. The facility was totally refirbished and upgraded with a new hearting system, boilers, pool filtration and energy efficient lighting at a cost of $1 million dollars

The facility is named for former Toronto mayor Jimmie Simpson who also was one of the founders of the Toronto Star.
