Labour Day stabbing on the Danforth

Police are on the hunt for three men after a man was stabbed during a street fight on the Danforth.

According to police an argument between two men began at 1 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 6 and escalated into a fight. Two other men who happened to be walking by got into the mix and starting punching one of the men. As the fight continued one of the attackers stabbed the individual being attacked, police say.

The man was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The first suspect, believed to be the individual who stabbed the man, is described as black, 20-40, with a chubby build. He was last seen wearing black pants and a black diamond-pattern jacket with a red inner lining. The second suspect is described as black, 20-30, last seen wearing a red shirt. The third suspect is described as black, 20-30, last seen wearing dark clothing.
