Last push for Milczyn wins him Ward 5
[attach]2578[/attach]It was a scare for Incumbent Ward 5 councillor Peter Milczyn who topped the poll with one last push late last night.
Milczyn finished the night with 9778 votes compared to 9669 for his nearest rival Justin Di Ciano who just fell short for an unexpected take over.
Through the night, Di Ciano was in the he lead by a handful of votes until Milczyn snagged the last chunk when the community awaited the last polling station to report the final results. The last seconds of the poll were critical for Milczyn victory.
In 2006 Milczyn took home almost 56 percent of the vote. This time, he almost continued the same pace.
