Man shot with crossbow in Danforth
A man has been murdered inside the Main Street Library near Danforth Ave as he was shot in the back with a crossbow.
Reports say the victim was found with an arrow in his back while a suspect was seen fleeing the scene in a van. The suspect fled northbound on Main Street.
Afternoon patrons of the library witnessed the man calmly walk into the building and fire the crossbow.
According to several news reports, police have arrested the male suspect Zhou Fang, 24, of Ottawa. He was charged with first-degree murder.
The victim was identified as Si Cheng, 52, of Toronto.
