Commemoration of landscape architect in place at Hodgson Senior Public School

Following the passing of Margery Winkler, her friends and family decided to honour the landscape architect by building a bench for her at Hodgson Senior Public School where she led a redevelopment of the school’s grounds. Perla Risenbach, at centre, helped to lead the fundraising efforts that resulted in artist Jesse Bajelman, at left, creating a unique place to sit. Also pictured are Winkler’s daughters Alexandra and Jaclyn and her husband Vladimir.
