One-man string of attempted robberies reported in North Toronto
Man seen driving stolen Mercedes-Benz, later recovered
A man attempted three robberies near Mt. Pleasant Road and Lawrence Avenue East area on May 21 between 5:34 p.m. and 7 p.m., police say.
The man allegedly approached at least three people and tried to rob them, once indicating he had a gun, although none was seen.
He was reportedly driving a stolen black Mercedes-Benz, which police later recovered.
Police are seeking a male described as black, 25 to 40, 5-foot-10 to 6-foot-2, wearing a black baseball hat and dark-coloured clothing.
