Police alerted after suspicious incident on Annette Street
Police have issued an alert to the Annette Street community after a man was seen loitering near two elementary schools last Thursday.
Police say on Jan. 27 at 5 p.m., a man was spotted holding a camera near Annette Street PS and St. Cecilia Catholic School.
The schools are within blocks of each other on Annette Street, east of Runnymede Road.
The man reportedly followed a girl and began taking pictures of her.
When the girl ran home, the man followed her and then took photos of the girl’s home, police say.
The man is described as white, 30-40, 6-feet, with a brown beard. He was last seen wearing a black toque, a thick black scarf, a red jacket, black pants and carrying a black camera with a long lens.
