It was a solid gold season for the B’Nai Brith executive team.

Filled with “young guns and savvy vets” according to Executive League commissioner Irwin Tobias, the Gold team won the championship title over a gritty Red team Sept. 28. Taking the final two games of a best of three series 12-2 and 16-4, it was a great way to conclude a winning season.

On their way their, they shutout team Black in the semifinals, and ended their regular season with a league-leading 15-4 record.

Team member David Eisenstadt credited the standout pitching of Adam Hennick as one of the reasons they were a force to be reckoned with.

Members of the team included both Eisenstadt and Hennick along with Larry Krupski, Rick Meslin, Mike Krestall, Jeff Krupski, Al Mervyn, Walter Gula, Steve Yermus
, Lorne Bloomberg, Stan Cappe, Norm Nefsky, Larry Teitel and Robbie Cooper.

All games were played at the recently renamed Irving Paisley Park in North York.
