Northern baseball reclaims Tier 1 title

[attach]4367[/attach]The Red Knights baseball crusade continues into the City championships with a 13-3 win over the Lancers at Talbot Park, June 7.

The South Region final went all seven innings in a hot afternoon, with Northern’s Frank Bond going the distance for the win.

Lancer Stephen Edwards, the losing pitcher, went six innings until teammate Chris Novachis came in to relieve.

Northern wins the title after Forest Hill, Humberside and Ursula Franklin Academy won it in previous years.
