Police are looking for a suspect — as well as the Good Samaritan who intervened — in the sexual assault of a 17-year-old girl in Eglinton Park.
Officers say the girl was walking through the park and was on a set of stairs at about 3:30 p.m. April 12 when she was attacked from behind by a man. The man then sexually assaulted the girl, until a witness intervened and chased the man away.
The suspect is described as a white male, 6 feet tall, and having an average build. He was wearing dark clothing.
Police are appealing for witnesses, as well as the Good Samaritan who chased the suspect away.
